NEW EPA's National Environmental Leadership Award in Asthma Management
The EPA's 2010 National Environmental Leadership Award in Asthma Management will recognize health insurance plans, providers and "communities in action" (e.g., state and local health departments, non-profit organizations, and coalitions) for their leadership in addressing management of environmental triggers as part of their comprehensive asthma management programs.
For the past six years the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has rewarded health plans and health care providers for their leadership addressing environmental triggers as part of their comprehensive asthma care programs.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is currently accepting applications for the National Environmental Leadership Award in Asthma Management. If you are a health plan, health care provider or community in action that has demonstrated leadership in managing environmental asthma triggers as part of your comprehensive asthma management program, apply to receive recognition for your important work in helping people with asthma lead healthy, active lives.
